Steve Randazzo joined TruPharma in July of 2014 to become its first Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. Steve takes primary responsibility for day-to-day contact with the buyers of generic pharmaceuticals in the US market. He draws upon a wealth of experience managing sales and marketing for a number of successful generic companies.Prior to joining TruPharma, Steve worked for two years at Lupin Pharmaceuticals. As US Director of National Accounts, Steve was part of a small team that sold over 80 molecules and doubled net sales from $360 million to $720 million. Steve’s tenure with Lupin followed his successful work at Anchen Pharmaceuticals from 2009-2012. As Vice President of Sales for Anchen, Steve worked together with JB to make Anchen a market leader in the niche space of controlled release oral solid products. Steve was instrumental in growing Anchen’s annual sales of five products to over $125 million for the twelve month period prior to the sale of Anchen to Par.
Before joining Anchen, Steve spent ten years with Ethex Corporation, first as Director of Sales (1999-2002), and then as VP of Sales (2002-09). In this last position, Steve managed a group of thirty-five sales and back officer personnel, and grew sales from $40 million to over $450 million. Prior to Ethex, Steve served as Regional Sales Manager for Schein Pharmaceutical from 1991-99. Steve has extensive knowledge in all aspects of sales and marketing in both the retail and institutional channels.
